The Mill Chicago was asked to help pitch on a Whirlpool booth for the 2016 CES event. The booth that year was dubbed the "Connected Suite", showcasing Whirlpool's many smart products for the home. Each direction needed to have a full screen graphic lockup, and one lockup used for titles over live action. The Chicago design department delivered a nice cross section of styles and ideas. Below are the two directions I presented for that year.
The first direction was very flat, using a mostly gray palette, with pops of strong primary colors.
The second direction was a hyhrid of simple line art and stylized 3D environments.
